Je data-abonnement wordt actief zodra je je eSIM. Wanneer je op je bestemming bent activeer je je data-roaming in de instellingen van je eSim4Mobile eSIM.
Na je aankoop ontvang je een e-mail met duidelijke instructies om je eSIM te installeren. Je kunt dit op twee manieren doen:
– de QR-code scannen of
– de installatiegegevens handmatig te kopiëren en plakken.
Belangrijk: activeer je eSim pas zodra je op je bestemming bent aangekomen. Selecteer daar je eSim als standaard voor mobiele data (en oproepen indien nodig), en schakel vervolgens data-roaming in om verbinding te maken.
In de meeste gevallen biedt de gekozen eSIM maximale snelheid (3G, 4G, LTE of 5G), vergelijkbaar met een lokale dataverbinding. Houd er wel rekening mee dat je snelheid lager kan zijn in gebieden met beperkte dekking, afhankelijk van het netwerk in die regio.
